DIRECTIONS

To use the shampoo bar just wet your hair thoroughly and rub the bar over your head until you create a nice frothy lather. If your bar is new you might want to use a flannel to help ‘break the seal’. Wash your hair as normal and pat dry before adding conditioner.

COMMERCIAL SHAMPOO

Because commercial detergent shampoo strips your hair of its natural oils, your scalp has to produce excess oil to compensate. This means that there is often an adjustment period after swapping to a natural shampoo. During this period your hair may feel greasy or heavy, however this should pass after a week or so when your hair has rebalanced its oil production. (This period may take longer if you have chemically treated hair).

There is also the problem of product build up from commercial shampoos and conditioners which often contain waxes, synthetic silicones, and silica that coat your hair, to make it "feel" nice, but leave a residue in your hair.
